TickTick is an online tool for creating and managing tasks, organize them into lists and folders, share files, set due dates and reminders, post comments and track activity.
There are slightly more options available in the left menu in TickTick, and the right part of the screen is kept to view the details of a task by just clicking on it. In Todoist, clicking on a task to view its details opens a new window. Both apps have a wide variety of themes available, with TickTick offering slightly more. TickTick is a task manager service. TickTick is cross-platform and is supported on all the major platforms (Android, iOS, MacOS, Windows and Web). It contains all of the features you would expect out of a task manager plus a couple that you don't typically see but are welcome additions.
On the left-hand side, there is a toolbar with options to add a new list. Enter a title, pick a color, the folder to store it in and enable or disable the hidden status. Lists can hold multiple tasks. Duplicate, close or delete lists, share via URL or invite others to join via email or username.
Each task can include subtasks, descriptions, shared files and comments. Use the More Options menu to set a due date, the priority level, move from one list to another, duplicate or delete the task.
TickTick lists the tasks that you create in the Inbox section. You can also view what tasks do you have planned for the current day, the next day or use the Calendar view to see a monthly plan. Be aware that not all the options are available to free subscribers.

Follow tasks and get email notifications of any changes. Adjust the frequency from the Settings window. The app includes a Summary section where you can see a report with the completed and undone tasks from a specific list in one week's timespan.

Access the Backup section from the Settings to export your data to CSV or import backups from local storage, Wunderlist, Omnifocus, Toodledo or iCal.
